Founders Salvatore & Nancy Bellia
In October 1973, Bellia Design, Print & Mail was founded in South Jersey on the vision and ingenuity of Salvatore & Nancy Bellia. As second-generation Americans, our grandparents dreamed of owning their own business, and borrowed $10,000 from our great-grandmother, Francesca Bellia, to make that dream a reality. They purchased a small printing company on North Broad Street in Woodbury, NJ and began serving the residents and small businesses of Gloucester County.
Their hard work and dedication was clear from the beginning, and their vision and core values remain a strong driving force behind our company’s mission today. From the very beginning, Salvatore’s sons Tom & Anthony Bellia were involved in helping run the family business. In 1987, they helped start the office furniture division, and the family has been growing ever since.

Tom and Anthony Bellia, second generation leaders, moved onward expanding upon the company’s vision. Anthony pioneered the office furniture business division while Tom led the printing business. Together, with the support of family, they fostered the growth of the Bellia company legacy through decades of economic challenges and changing times. With hard work, the willingness to learn and adapt, second generation Bellia proved itself worthy of becoming an award-winning regional organization. Tom and Anthony Sr. succeeded in establishing a reputation of service, integrity, and unparalleled quality products to offer and serve the community.
“It’s been a successful transition. Anthony and I are still majority owners. We’re going to stay on track. We’re not bowing out. Although we’re co-chairing the board, we won’t be involved in the day-to-day operation. We’ve just raised the bar.”
Thomas A. Bellia, South Jersey Times, July 2014
The third generation of the Bellia family stepped into leadership beginning in 2012. Tom’s sons and Anthony’s sons now lead the company, with Tom and Anthony remaining as co-chairmen of the board. The values Sal and Nancy built into the business from day one continue to guide every decision made at 1047 North Broad Street.
Third generation leadership, carrying the legacy forward
Today, under the leadership of Andrew Bellia, Bellia Design, Print & Mail continues to invest in the technology, people, and capabilities that South Jersey businesses depend on. From same-day walk-in copies and blueprint printing to full-service commercial printing, graphic design, mailing services, and web-to-print solutions for organizations throughout the tristate area and country.
The building on North Broad Street is the same one Tom stood in front of at its construction in 1985 — and the family is still here.
Bellia has been a member of the Greater Woodbury Chamber of Commerce and the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce for generations. We believe a business that takes from a community owes that community something in return, and we’ve tried to give it back every year we’ve been open.
Bellia ships nationwide, but our roots run deep across South Jersey and the greater Philadelphia region.
