Standard adhesive window film creates a solid printed graphic that blocks or limits visibility through the covered portion of the glass. Perforated window film contains small openings that allow people inside to see out while the printed image remains visible from outside. Perforated film is a good choice for storefront windows and other large glass areas where maintaining outward visibility is important.
Yes. When properly removed from suitable, properly prepared glass, adhesive window graphics can generally be taken down without damaging the surface. However, 3M IJ35C uses a permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive and is intended for longer-term applications rather than frequent removal or repositioning. Removal conditions and possible adhesive residue can vary depending on installation time, environmental exposure, and the condition of the glass.
Yes. Window graphics can be contour cut to custom shapes, including logos, lettering, circles, ovals, and other designs. Contour cutting allows the finished graphic to follow the shape of your artwork rather than requiring a standard square or rectangular edge.
A print-ready PDF or high-resolution JPG is preferred. Artwork should be prepared at the correct size with appropriate bleed and sufficient image resolution for the finished dimensions. For contour-cut graphics, a vector cut path may also be required. If you need assistance preparing your files, our in-house graphic design team can help prepare artwork for production.
Installation is available upon request for window graphics throughout South Jersey. For appropriate self-installed adhesive graphics, 3M IJ35C features Comply™ air-release technology that helps reduce trapped air during application to smooth, flat surfaces.
