Which Poster Size Should I Choose?

Small Displays

16" × 20"

Ideal for retail counters, bulletin boards, restaurant promotions, classroom displays, and event announcements where viewers are standing nearby.

Most Popular

18" × 24" & 24" × 36"

These are Bellia's most frequently ordered poster sizes. Large enough to attract attention without overwhelming a space, they're ideal for trade shows, lobbies, storefronts, presentations, and community events.

Maximum Impact

27" × 39", 36" × 48", & Larger

Oversized posters command attention from across a room and are ideal for trade show graphics, presentation displays, event entrances, museum exhibits, and retail environments. Custom dimensions are also available.

Mounted vs. Unmounted — Which Do You Need?

Unmounted posters are printed on premium poster paper with your choice of gloss or matte finish. They're easy to roll, frame, transport, and replace — making them the best choice for temporary promotions, event signage, and framed artwork.

Mounted posters are permanently adhered to a rigid backing such as foam board or PVC, creating a clean, professional display without requiring a frame. They're ideal for presentations, trade shows, lobbies, easel displays, and long-term signage.

CUSTOMER QUESTIONS

Posters — Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between mounted and unmounted posters?

Unmounted posters are printed on premium paper stock and are ideal for framing, temporary displays, retail promotions, and event signage. Mounted posters are adhered to a rigid board such as foam core, Gator Board, or PVC, creating a professional display that can stand on an easel or mount directly to a wall without requiring a frame.

Which mounting material should I choose?

Foam core is the most popular choice for presentations, trade shows, and indoor displays because it is lightweight and economical. Gator Board is more durable for long-term indoor use, while Sintra/PVC and Coroplast are good choices when additional strength or weather resistance is needed. We can help you choose the right mounting material for your project.

What’s the difference between gloss and matte?

Gloss UV produces brighter colors and deeper contrast, making it a strong choice for photography, retail graphics, and image-heavy designs. Matte offers a softer, low-glare finish that is easier to read under bright lighting and works well for text-heavy posters, presentations, and professional office displays.

Can I order a custom size?

Yes. We produce custom-size posters for retail displays, presentations, trade shows, events, and special projects. Call 856.845.2234 or request a custom quote.

Can I get a contour-cut shape?

Yes. Custom contour-cut posters and mounted display boards are available for logos, mascots, products, people, characters, photographs, and other unique shapes. Contour-cut displays work especially well for life-size cutouts, retail promotions, trade show graphics, event props, and branded displays. Because each project requires individual artwork and material review, request a custom quote for pricing.

Can I print on both sides?

Yes. Double-sided printing is available for many mounted poster and display options. Choose front-and-back printing in the product options when available, or contact us if you are unsure which material and configuration are best for your project.

How should I prepare my artwork?

Submit a print-ready PDF or high-resolution JPG built at the final poster size in CMYK color mode. Raster artwork should be approximately 300 dpi at the final printed size. No bleed is required for standard oversized rectangular posters. Keep important text, logos, and graphics safely inside the trim area, and download the template for your selected size from the Templates tab. Before submitting your order, carefully review your artwork, spelling, layout, and sizing to make sure everything is correct.

How should I prepare artwork for contour cutting?

Vector artwork is preferred for contour-cut displays. Include a clearly identified cut path around the intended shape, or provide the original artwork so we can review the file and prepare the cut line. Keep text, logos, faces, and other important details safely inside the intended cut edge. Request a custom quote if you need help determining the material, finished size, or artwork setup.

How do I make sure my poster is correct before it prints?

Once you upload your artwork, you’ll review it and check a confirmation box verifying it’s correct before your order moves into production — there’s no separate proof step for uploaded artwork. If our in-house design team creates your poster for you, we’ll share a design proof for your approval before it goes to print.

Can Bellia design my poster?

Yes. Bellia Design, Print & Mail’s in-house designers create everything from retail displays and event posters to trade show graphics, presentation boards, contour-cut displays, and large-format promotional signage. Learn more about Bellia’s graphic design services.
