Before You Order: Car magnets adhere only to clean, smooth, magnetic metal surfaces. Test the intended placement area with a household magnet before ordering. Magnets may not adhere to aluminum, fiberglass, plastic, carbon fiber, heavily curved panels, or areas repaired with body filler.
Proper surface preparation and routine cleaning help car magnets maintain strong contact with the vehicle and extend their usable life. Always remove the magnets if they begin to lift, shift, curl, or lose full contact with the vehicle surface.
Set up your artwork at the exact final printed size in CMYK color mode at 300 dpi. Include a 0.125" bleed on all sides and keep important text, logos, and phone numbers at least 0.125" inside the trim edge.

Car magnets are designed for temporary use on clean, fully cured factory paint. To help protect the finish, clean and dry both the vehicle surface and the back of the magnet before installation. Remove the magnet regularly to clean underneath and allow trapped moisture to evaporate. Do not apply magnets over fresh paint, damaged paint, body filler, rust, or recently repaired surfaces.
Car magnets adhere to clean, smooth, magnetic steel panels. They will not attach properly to aluminum, fiberglass, carbon fiber, plastic, or many composite body panels. Before ordering, test the intended placement area with a household magnet and make sure the entire sign can sit flat without crossing trim, seams, handles, moldings, or sharply curved areas.
Car magnets are made for normal vehicle use when installed correctly on a clean, flat steel panel with full surface contact. Rounded corners can help reduce wind lift. Always inspect the magnet before driving and remove it if any edge is lifting, curling, shifting, or no longer making complete contact with the vehicle.

Yes. We offer quantities suitable for a single personal or business vehicle as well as larger orders for company fleets. Many businesses order matching magnets for both sides of a vehicle, but the quantity you need depends on your application.
If the magnet was shipped or stored rolled, allow it to lie flat before installation. Wash and dry the vehicle surface and clean the back of the magnet. Position it on a flat steel panel and smooth it from the center outward so the entire back makes contact. Do not place it over body seams, trim, handles, moldings, rust, or sharply curved areas.
Remove the magnet regularly and clean both the magnetic backing and the vehicle surface with mild soap and water. Dry both surfaces completely before reinstalling. Remove magnets before automatic car washes, inspect the edges before driving, and store them flat or gently rolled with the printed side facing outward. Never fold or crease the magnetic material.
Submit a print-ready PDF in CMYK color mode. Raster photographs and graphics should be approximately 300 dpi at the final printed size. Keep important text, logos, phone numbers, and QR codes inside the safe area, and use the appropriate bleed when artwork extends to the edge. Before submitting your order, carefully review your artwork, spelling, layout, and sizing to make sure everything is correct.
Once you upload your artwork, you’ll review it and check a confirmation box verifying it’s correct before your order moves into production — there’s no separate proof step for uploaded artwork. If our in-house design team creates your car magnet for you, we’ll share a design proof for your approval before it goes to print.
