PDF or JPG? A print-ready PDF is preferred because it preserves text, page order, fonts, graphics, and calendar layout. High-resolution JPG files are also accepted when each page is prepared at 300 dpi in CMYK color mode at the final printed size.
Download the template that matches your calendar size and orientation. Templates include bleed, trim, and safe zone guides. Set up each page at the single-page size — your cover and each monthly spread should be set up as individual pages.

For sharp printed results, use original, high-resolution images at approximately 300 dpi at the final printed size. Avoid enlarging small images, screenshots, or web-quality graphics because they may appear blurry or pixelated in print.
Yes. Your calendar can begin with any month that fits your project. Choose January for a traditional calendar year, September for a school-year calendar, June for a summer edition, or another starting month that aligns with your organization, event, or promotion.
Yes. Yes. We offer calendars in full color or black ink only. Black ink is an economical choice for schedules, planners, church calendars, school calendars, internal office calendars, and other projects that do not require full-color photographs or graphics.
Saddle stitching binds folded pages with staples placed along the center fold. It is a common calendar binding method because it is durable, economical, and allows pages to turn easily from month to month.
Yes. If you select the optional drill hole for wall hanging, keep important text, logos, photographs, and other critical artwork at least 0.5" from the top edge of each applicable page. Our calendar templates include a drill-hole safe zone to help you position artwork correctly.
The final page count depends on the calendar layout. A typical 12-month calendar may include a front cover, monthly pages or spreads, and a back cover. Because saddle-stitched calendars are produced from folded sheets, the total page count must be a multiple of four.
Submit a print-ready PDF or high-resolution JPG prepared in CMYK color mode. Raster photographs and graphics should be approximately 300 dpi at the final printed size. PDF is preferred for multi-page calendar layouts because it preserves page order, text, fonts, graphics, and positioning. When submitting JPG files, provide each calendar page as a separate high-resolution file. Use the template from the Templates tab to confirm the correct trim size, bleed, safe area, page order, and drill-hole clearance when applicable. Before submitting your order, carefully review your artwork, spelling, layout, images, QR codes, and sizing to make sure everything is correct.
Once you upload your artwork, you’ll review it and check a confirmation box verifying it’s correct before your order moves into production — there’s no separate proof step for uploaded artwork. If our in-house design team creates your calendar for you, we’ll share a design proof for your approval before it goes to print.
